A moment I’ve dreamed about for years.
I always imagined the day I’d shake hands with the outgoing Chairman.
Yesterday, I got more than a handshake; I got a hug, encouragement, and his recommendation.
During my GMAP OJT, by the Grace of God, I identified a problem, suggested a solution, and had the courage to speak up.
He loved the idea.
That moment reminded me that ideas matter, initiative matters, and your voice can create impact; regardless of where you are in your journey.
I’m grateful to learn, contribute, and be recognized. This is only the beginning.
Keep learning. Keep solving. Keep showing up. Your moment may be closer than you think
I’m seeing all the love and kind words. Thank you!🤗

In a diner, I accidentally asked the waitress for "power coffee."
I meant strong black coffee. My English failed me.
She didn't correct me. She yelled to the back: "ONE POWER COFFEE FOR THE SAMURAI!"
The cook banged a spatula on the grill in approval.
They brought me a mug the size of a bucket.
I have visited that diner every Tuesday for six months.
Last month, I arrived feeling defeated after a terrible week.
The waitress looked at my face, placed the giant mug on my table, and said softly, "Power coffee is on the house today, Samurai. Stand up straight."
I did not need a speech. I needed a mug and a title.
I stood up straight.
This morning, my kids were playing with me on the bed.
Then my wife called my daughter to come help her in the kitchen.
The following conversation took place:
Daughter: Daddy, why isn't "her brother's name" coming to join us in the kitchen? He should also learn how to cook.
Me: Yes, he should learn how to cook, but for different reasons.
D: what are the reasons, daddy?
Me: Your brother should learn how to cook so that he can survive when he's on his own as a young man or a bachelor. You should learn how to cook, so that you can survive as a young lady, and be able to cook for your husband and children.
D: But daddy, that's gender stereotyping.
Me: My head is spinning.
Me: What do you mean?
D: I mean, daddy, I must not be the only one who cooks for my husband. I can also earn more money than my husband, so he too should be cooking.
My head just do gbam!
Na so I start lecture ooo.
My wife called her again, but I had to ask her to allow her because I wanted to talk to her.
What started as a simple conversation turned into a 30 minutes lecture time.
I thought she was still very young to understand certain things but I realized this girl is always on YouTube kids watching different girly stuff. And somehow, this internet has a way to feeding them this western ideologies.
So I started from when I met her mother at the university until I married her. I told her that during our dating period, I did not give her mother any money for hair, buy her any phone, or pay any rent for her mother.
I told her that, yes, she should aspire to make her own money, and that even when she gets married and is making money, her money is not meant for her to be a provider for her husband.
I used my wife and myself as examples. I told her that when I married her mother, she was working and earning money, but she stopped working to become a stay-at-home mother and wife.
And that I pay her mother a monthly salary for the job she does.
D: Mommy never told me that you pay her salary.
Me: Yes, she didn't tell you because it's not your business. But I am telling you now so that you understand that even if you see your mother at home every day, it doesn't mean that she's not working.
That it can heppen to her when she gets married. Which is why she must be careful with the type of men she follows or the type of man she would get married to.
I told her that she should never see men and women as equals. That we have different privileges.
I now asked her if she knows what feminism is?
This girl said yes.
Omo I started another round of lecture o.
Feminism is different from femininity. I want you to discard whatever feminism is saying and be a feminine lady.
I married her because her mother is a feminine woman.
I talk tire.
This girl was just looking at me in awe.
I was actually waiting for when she would turn 15/16 before having such conversations with her, but omo, I for gok am.
Later, I had to call her mother privately to tell her that she has more work to do in terms of orientation. She said she does, but it's good that I lectured her, so she will now use it to teach and convince her more, because she always doesn't want to disappoint me, her father.
May my daughter not become the very things I teach against.
End.
Have you downloaded the New Tax Laws yet?
If not, this is your reminder.
Don’t just save the PDF and forget about it. Read it, understand it, and keep it within reach. The real value is not in having the file; it’s in knowing how to apply it.
Students, accountants, tax professionals, and business owners will all find it useful.

Y’all help me welcome my woman @Fifii_44 to this space. 🥹❤️
She finally decided to join us here, and I couldn’t be happier.
It’s crazy how we’re celebrating two things at the same time. We just completed our Civil Engineering journey,🥳 and honestly, it still feels unreal. From the long nights of reading to deadlines, projects, tests, and exams… we made it.
I’m really proud of us, and I’m thankful I got to share that journey with her.❤️
If you’re seeing this, say hi, welcome her, and please drop a congratulatory message for us. Pray that this new chapter brings us bigger opportunities, success, and plenty of reasons to smile.
Here’s to new beginnings.
So as the X alert entered today, my wife then brought her "book of life".
My debt was N378,350.
I didn't say anything.
As I was about transferring the money to her account she was beside me.
"Sweetie, round it up na"
To what?
"Send N400k"
I sent 380k.
"Stingy man"😂
End.
I started learning furniture making at Ipaja furniture yard at 30, as the only female apprentice there. People would literally stop and stare at me as I worked, but I didn’t care😂
It was tough, my body complained, my complexion darkened but I adjusted. I’m glad I took that decision.
Meet the Eboh bunk bed, named after my bestie in the third frame.
Eboh means Peace in Idoma language.
Disclaimer: I didn’t make the ladder but the shelves and the metal ottoman was from my workshop.
Made this wooden bike for my bestie that turned one in June
My bestie’s mum always brings her to shop with Okada, so she loves okada. On her birthday, I decided to make a wooden okada for her😂
The issue now is that her elder brother has colonized the bike😩
I came across this video from a fellow spinal cord injured Nigerian. It made me so sad because just like mine it wasn't due to any recklessness on his part.
Dude was just minding his business on the back of Okada when he was allegedly allegedly shot by an officer of @PoliceNG@OyoPoliceNG
Please go to his page and help him bring light to his ordeal.
