હોમિયોપેથી ક્ષેત્રનું ભારતનું આ સંભવતઃ અત્યાર સુધીનું સૌથી મોટું સંમેલન છે, જે ગુજરાતમાં યોજાયું તે આનંદની વાત છે.

અત્યારે સમગ્ર વિશ્વમાં હોલીસ્ટિક હેલ્થ અંગે લોકોમાં જાગૃતિ આવી છે અને ગુજરાત પણ વૈકલ્પિક ચિકિત્સા પદ્ધતિઓના યોગ્ય ઉપયોગ થકી સંપૂર્ણ સ્વાસ્થ્યની દિશામાં પ્રયાસરત છે, ત્યારે આ સંમેલન એ "રાઈટ જોબ એટ રાઈટ પ્લેસ" છે.

માનનીય વડાપ્રધાન શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઈ મોદીના નેતૃત્વમાં આયુષ મંત્રાલયના માધ્યમથી હોમિયોપેથી ચિકિત્સા પદ્ધતિને વ્યાપ વધ્યો છે અને આ ક્ષેત્રે થઈ રહેલ કામગીરીને નવી દિશા અને ઊર્જા મળી છે.

ખુબ જ નજીવા ખર્ચમાં એક - બે વર્ષમાં દેશને લાખો ડોક્ટરો એક સાથે ઉપલબ્ધ બની શકે તેમ છે !

દેશના અંતરિયાળ અને ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારોમાં પૂરતા ડોક્ટરો ઉપલબ્ધ બને તે માટે કેન્દ્ર સરકાર છેલ્લા પાંચ વર્ષમાં સંખ્યાબંધ મેડિકલ કોલેજો ખોલી ચુકી છે. આ કોલેજો શરુ કરવા માટે સરકાર ખાસ્સા નાણાં ખર્ચી રહી છે પણ બધી જગ્યાએ ટીચિંગ માટે પૂરતી ફેકલ્ટી પ્રાપ્ય નથી અને કેટલીક જગ્યાએ આ કોલેજો સાથે સંલગ્ન હોસ્પિટલોમાં પૂરતા દર્દીઓ પણ નથી. આ બંને બાબતોની વિપરીત
અસર કોલેજોમાં અપાતા શિક્ષણની ગુણવત્તા પર પડે છે.

આ સમસ્યાનો સરળ અને ઓછો ખર્ચાળ વિકલ્પ દેશ પાસે છે. ભારતમાં આજે લાખો આયુર્વેદિક અને હોમીઓપેથીક પ્રેક્ટિશનરો છે જે નાનાં શહેરો અને ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારોમાં સેવા આપી રહ્યા છે. આ બધા લોકો બેઝિક એનેટોમી અને ફિઝ્યોલોજી શીખ્યા હોય છે. તે બધા પૈકી જેમને એલોપેથીની પ્રેકટીશ કરવી હોય તેમને માટે એક કે બે વર્ષના “બ્રિજ કોર્સ “ની વ્યવસ્થા કરવામાં આવે અને કોર્સ અંતે તેની પરીક્ષામાં સફળ થનારને એલોપેથી પ્રેક્ટીશની છૂટ અપાય તો દેશને લાખો ડોક્ટરો એક સાથે મળી જાય. નવી મેડિકલ કોલેજો ખોલવાની જરૂર રહેશે નહિ અને એક સાથે લાખો નવા ડોક્ટરો ઉમેરાશે.
