Penetration-free for free, you need OGC.
I released the code of our SIGGRAPH 2025 paper: Offset Geometric Contact, where we made real-time, penetration free simulation possible, with @JerryHsu32@zihengliu@milesmacklin@YinYang24414350@cem_yuksel

DDR5 is unstable garbage.
Max out your memory channels? Flaky.
Temperature a bit too hot? Silent Throttle with no logs.
Too “Dense” of a stick? Good luck training.
Last gen was rock solid by comparison. Here's what happened.
Ripgrep is slow.
Nowgrep is fast, because I bypass the Windows slop and go straight to NTFS.
Here's Ripgrep vs. Nowgrep searching through 300k files on a drive with 2M+.
Nowgrep is written from scratch in C99.
No borrow checker.
"I repeat, we are NOT rewriting our backend in Rust"

"For the last time, we are not looking to replace Docker with Nix anytime soon"

Some time ago I built a @PreSonus Studio One palette generator that turns any image into a natural, harmonized S1 palette preset. I use it mostly for myself, but maybe other S1 users will find it useful: https://t.co/zzMQLyk489
uBlock Origin Lite now available for Safari running on iPhone, iPad, and macOS (Mac). It is a free and opensource app to block Ads and other stuff. Give it a try.
The Myth of EU Charity — and the Western European inferiority complex.
“Poland 🇵🇱 developed because of EU funds” is not an argument. It’s a resentment-ridden reflex, a lazy slur repeated by those who cannot accept that a country once peripheral now surpasses them in safety, infrastructure, growth, and national cohesion. It is the bitter projection of Western Europeans confronted with the collapse of their own model.
EU funds were not a gift. They were part of a strategic deal: Poland opened its market, dismantled much of its domestic industry, and allowed Western capital to dominate entire sectors of its economy. In exchange, it received infrastructure investments designed primarily to create roads, rails, and utilities — to serve Western supply chains. Polish workers built the motorways. German trucks drove on them.
Western companies have extracted far more from Poland than the EU ever “gave.” Profits, dividends, interest, and rent payments flowing westward every year dwarf the net value of so-called “EU aid.” France, Germany, and the Netherlands do not run charities. They run trade surpluses and capital extraction schemes.
What remains is a Western ego unable to explain how a “poor cousin” managed to avoid its mistakes: mass immigration, deindustrialization, urban chaos, and cultural disintegration. The claim that Poland’s success is external hides a fear: that the West has no internal drive left.
They say “EU funds built Poland” to avoid asking a deeper question: why did you waste your own wealth? Why did you sabotage your nations while we rebuilt ours?
It's not gratitude they want. It's submission.
They want us to bow down and say: "Thank you for letting us live."
But we won’t. We built it. You know it. That’s why you’re angry.
My client just fired his entire customer support team because of this AI agent.
I should feel bad for all the people getting let off today but I feel fucking amazing. Just out here doing my job.
This digital employee handles angry customers better than humans ever could:
→ Responds in 30 seconds (not 2 business days)
→ Never gets triggered by Karens
→ Works 24/7 without sick days or therapy
→ Categorizes tickets automatically
→ Escalates complex issues to humans
Cost: $15/month in API calls
Replaced: $4K/month support team
The AI never asks for raises or complains about difficult customers.
Follow + RT + Comment "FIRE" and I'll send the JSON that just made customer service optional.

The single most undervalued fact of linear algebra: matrices are graphs, and graphs are matrices.
Encoding matrices as graphs is a cheat code, making complex behavior simple to study.
Let me show you how!
As a former demoscener, all this hype about liquid glass just makes me laugh. We had such effect over 25+ years ago, coded in less than 256 bytes of 68k assembly. :)
