Update Haines Point rowers in distress. #DCsBravest assisted 3 vessels containing 27 rowers and 2 coaches. There were no injuries. All were transported by ground back to Thompson’s Boathouse and the boats secured for later towing by their coaches.

@TheAudProfessor @WTOPtraffic @PoPville I saw Park Police scouring down in the creek around 8 a.m. just south of Taft Bridge while running on the trails. I also saw Secret Service police around 9 a.m. searching the woods around Normanstone Dr. Unsure if the two are related.
