❇️ وافقت هيئة الغذاء والدواء الأمريكية على دراسة طلب من شركة نوفونوردسك حول دواء جديد لعقار #سيماغلوتايد #Semaglutide يؤخذ عن طريق الفم مرة واحدة يوميًا بتركيز 25 ملغم للبالغين الذين يعانون من السمنة أو زيادة الوزن.

⬅️ قُدِّم طلب الموافقة الجديدة بناءً على نتائجِ تجربة OASIS 4 المرحلة الثالثة والتي استمرت 64 أسبوعًا درست فعاليةَ وسلامةَ تناول حبة من دواء #سيماغلوتايد اليومية بجرعة 25 ملغم مقارنةً بالدواء الوهمي لدى 307 بالغين يعانون من السمنة أو زيادة الوزن مع وجودِ ≥1 من الأمراضِ المصاحبة.استَبعدَ الباحثون مرضى السكري.

⬅️ أظهرت البيانات من تجربة المرحلة الثالثة OASIS 4 أن جرعة 25 ملغم من دواء #سيماغلوتايد كانت مرتبطة بفقدان الوزن بنسبة 13.6% - 16.6% في المتوسط ​​بعد 64 أسبوعًا مقابل 2.2% للعلاج الوهمي.
