The Norman castle sits atop the basement of a Roman temple where you can still see fire damage from Boudicca's revolt.

@Blaydon_Racer @Guy21Nerdy Much of Norfolk is flat, but actually there is a lot of rolling countryside in Essex and Suffolk. Constable country (just north of Colchester) is beautiful. Lots of chocolate box villages all over. The series The Detectorists is set in Essex, although filmed in suffolk.
