Primary care blogger and passionate advocate for IMGs, bedside nurses and 1st responders.
About me: I'm an IMG who obtained my medical degree in Mexico and previously worked as a paramedic and RN in Texas. I'm passionate about primary care, helping as many IMGs as possible pass the USMLE exams and advocating for bedside nurses and first responders.
There is a great saying from eastern culture:
The tree that grows slowly often develops the deepest roots.
If your success came later, perhaps life was preparing you.
If your path took longer, perhaps you were learning lessons others skipped.
If you had to start over, perhaps you were building something stronger.
Many people spend their lives comparing timelines.
But nature never rushes.
The oak does not envy the bamboo.
The mountain does not envy the river.
Everything arrives in its own season.
Stop measuring your life against someone else’s clock.
@Dragonflynda I watch a lot of soccer and have several favorite teams. I'm similarly tired of interacting with professional soccer players and them treating me like I know nothing and gaslighting me.
