He appointed his nephew, Tunde Sabiu Yusuf, as his aide, and Tunde ran the cabal that almost destroyed Nigeria. News anchors were quiet. Buhari's nephew, Mamman Daura, was virtually running the government as a shadow President. Some media did chop and clean mouth.

And now you want to instigate the public and bait the military to stage a coup because Tinubu's sons, who are well known businessmen, travelled for a business summit in Qatar with their father? Were you deaf, blind or unable to speak when, on August 27, 2000, President Clinton visited Nigeria on an official state visit with his adult daughter, Chelsea, who was the FIRST person he introduced to then-President Obasanjo?

President Bola Tinubu has suspended indefinitely the Managing Director/CEO of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad, alongside three Executive Directors of the Agency.

The executive directors affected are: Olaniyi Alaba Netufor, Corporate Services, Barka Sajou Technical Services and Sa'adatu Balgore, , Rural Electrification Fund (REF).

The President announced their replacements:

1) Abba Abubakar Aliyu — Managing Director/CEO

(2) Ayoade Gboyega — Executive Director, Corporate Services

(3) Umar Abdullahi Umar — Executive Director, Technical Services

(4) Doris Uboh — Executive Director, Rural Electrification Fund (REF)

(5) Olufemi Akinyelure — Head of Project Management Unit, Nigeria Electrification Project

The officials were suspended in the wake of findings unearthed during a comprehensive investigation into the financial activities of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA),

Special adviser Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale said President Tinubu has ordered a wider investigation into the conduct of the suspended officials in a N1.2 billion misappropriation over the past two years, some of which has already been recovered by anti-graft agencies.
