This is a potato; a handful of it costs about $2.

Take those same potatoes, slice them thin, and fry them. Suddenly, those $2 potatoes are now worth $4 as a plate of potato chips.

You can boil these potatoes, mash them up, and season them into mashed potatoes. Now, those $2 potatoes have transformed into a $6 side dish.

Do you also know that you can turn those potatoes into vodka? Distill and bottle them up, and now those same $2 potatoes are worth $50 or more as a premium bottle of potato vodka.

Moral lessons?
