Peep the cover girl, Guardian Woman, February 2024🥰
As I shared with @IjeomaOdia of @GuardianNigeria, “I believe the educated girl of today, is the empowered woman of tomorrow.”
I hope you enjoy reading this interview, as much as I enjoyed giving it. https://t.co/muJUNrK9MW
@nikitabier please help get @dretkandi account back from hackers. She’s been filling the support forms on X website for a week with no response and the hackers are posting scams.

Last year, the Nigerian government officially launched the National Policy on Menstrual Health, we rejoiced.
Nearly a year later, I’m yet to find it in the public domain. Is the policy document for a select few? Does it exist? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I wrote this because too many women are dying—not just from lack of quality care, but from lack of autonomy.
“What are my rights?”. It starts with education. This knowledge is not for you alone. Read, share and remember to subscribe.

5) Babe, as much as you can, please have your own money. I have witnessed women lose their lives to poor decisions, because of financial dependence on men who have no value for their lives.
In the words of a Naija musician, “Money stops Nonsense”. #SipsZobo
I’m rooting for you.
Ladies listen up:
1) You have the RIGHT to sign your consent form by yourself, for any procedure. As long as you’re of legal age, and you are conscious & alert.
Sadly, some medics wrongly bring in their personal biases into practice, you must resist and advocate for yourself.
4) Please, don’t gamble with contraception. There are about 18 different methods, hormonal and non hormonal, male and female. Whichever one you decide (together with your family planning specialist), do it right. Know your cycle.
Planned pregnancies have better outcomes.
@Physco_dollars Oh, but the harm lives on. Hence making it a great opportunity to educate our communities in an existing but overlooked issue killing women. This post was clearly not about parading him, else I wouldn’t have blurred him out. Watch the video and you’ll hopefully get the message.
“C-section is not a normal birth”. It’s one thing for illiterates to say this, but when it comes from a medic… it is highly disappointing and dangerous. This is what everyone must know.
Educate yourselves and pass on the knowledge. #CSectionAwareness
You're allowed to change your opinion if you learn something new that challenges your old opinion.
Holding to old opinions in the face of superior intelligence is not a sign of intelligence.
You know how there’s Pre-blocking, where you block someone whose comments don’t align with your values before they even get the chance to engage with you…
….that same feature should exist in the justice system—Pre-jailing! A sanitary measure to keep evil off our streets! Gosh!
@BCalamansi@eberechi_ezike@ObetaOdinaka Congratulations my dear Bukky. I saw the passion and excellence you pored into this event and it’s admirable. Keep trailblazing.
Today, I taught a room full of British Medical Students practical steps on how Medicine and Policy intersect to create change in practice!
The journey that led me here started years ago, from the beautiful city of Aba 🇳🇬.
Stay true to your dreams.
Thank you @thebsdj@WeAreSfGH.
