@WildlifeLucy@ianbennell75 You should see it now. Looks like a scrubby field rather than a weedy one. There Alot fewer migrants passing through and a lot harder to go around the field!!!
1 PURPLE EMPORER on Elm at NW corner of weedy/ scrubby field by the B653 and KW School in Batford, Herts., Stuck around for about an hour and 15 mins!!
Managed to get a pair of MANDARIN on the River Lea by the cycle Bridge over the Lower Luton Road (4th time in one week), usual FIRECREST at Harpenden STW and 3 YELLOWHAMMER in ploughed field just north of weedy/ scrubby field (a rare bird around here).
Well, I didn't think I would see these again. After a period of about 3 years a pair of YELLOWHAMMER turned up in the farmers field just north of the weedy/ scrubby field by the B653, batford at 14.05 today!!!
