October 7th filtered out all the people in my life that I couldn’t trust and that were a hidden poison. I was totally unaware of their true nature until it happened.

It highlighted people that I should never have trusted in the first place, like a warning.

People, who I realise now, if I were in the time of my ancestors - would tell the Nazis where I was hiding. Some of these people were lifelong friends. They’re gone now. Not said a word to me since October 2023.

However, it made way for so many more new people that have been such a light in my life.

These things filter out the people you wouldn’t want in your life anyway, it’s a litmus test.

@BoyGeorge - You’ve been amazing and there are so many people that look up to you as a beacon of bravery and strength.

I know there are many other musicians and artists that are also hiding their true feelings about all of this out of fear of backlash.

Let’s hope they actually can muster the courage to “come out”

In Buddhism we understand that every action comes with a consequence. Due to my decision to stand up for my Jewish friends I am losing a few people from my life. Today I parted company with Tony Pontius who has run my record label BGP for a number of years. I wanted to release 'We Will Dance Again' but he was unequivocal and said 'I want nothing to do with this song' and I responded 'ok, we are done'.
When someone is gutless it really does not hurt to say goodbye. My faith in humanity will not diminish and the truth will always win.
