How do Indians actually watch TV?

60M — Cable TV households
56.9M — Pay-DTH subscribers
49M — DD Free Dish households
40M — Connected TV homes
0.7M — IPTV subscribers

The bigger trend:

Pay-DTH subscribers have fallen from 70.3M in 2020 to 56.9M in March 2025.

Traditional TV isn’t disappearing.
It’s changing how it reaches us.

~1.26B wireless subscribers
~700M smartphone users
~200–300M feature-phone users

And among smartphone sales:

Android: ~91%
