Falcons fall in Game 1 vs. St. Charles North 3-2. Popham was excellent on the mound again. Pisciotta and Kurtz each with a solo HR. Back at it tomorrow at SCN, 4:30pm
Sad news to report tonight: Cubs Hall of Fame second baseman Ryne Sandberg has passed away after a long battle with cancer. Sandberg, 65, was a kind, gracious star. One of those guys no one had a bad thing to say about. RIP
.@wnfalcons15 senior Jake Williams scattered seven hits while walking two and striking out seven in a complete-game shutout that led the host Falcons to a 3-0 win over @WWSBaseball, snapping the Tigers' four-game win streak.
