@GuyDealership It’s not more risky… this is well-studied human risk aversion bias when values are large and chance of loss is small (it’s the same risk in both situations, but the magnitude differs). See Tversky and Kahneman.
@carsales_guy This isn’t totally accurate because you’re only focused on the lease term as the time window and not time of ownership for something financed. If someone keeps a car for 8/9 years, but would lease for 36/48 months, the lease might look better at 3/4 yrs but much worse at 8/9 yrs.
@mamndw @Sarah4RRC Permeability isn’t a function of cross sectional area… the flow rate is. Permeability is absolutely a function of hole size & connectivity in the medium.
@Evanish@FracSlap Demonstrate the spontaneous assemblage of methane into complex organic molecules in a lab under conditions similar to those required by the theory. Until then it’s an assertion with no evidence.
@Dr_Straker@NateSilver538 People think because the outcome is binary the forecast should be as well. Explaining probability to people who only believe in binary forecast is probably a lost cause.
My opponent wants voters to “take our city back” from…voters?
He wants people to go vote for him, because it’s *always* about HIM.
He allowed for the chaos of #TheBigLie, harming our country. He just wanted y’all to know he was in on the rouse, last week, to save face.
@WolfheadStudio @NoLieWithBTC No one is making the church do anything. There is no restriction of speech. People are upset that words means things that they don’t want them to mean.
@asanwal So that you have a basic understanding that rivers erode soil and rock, and it doesn’t magically disappear. The modern world is powered by liquids that get trapped in sedimentary rocks by overlaying metamorphic rocks… yet many adults think there are gigantic underground caves.

@EnergyCredit1 Since it’s just a text search for a row, you could just TEXTJOIN every column and then just search that. You can generate a dynamic range by using FILTER(<range>, TRUE), which will apply the TEXTJOIN functionally to each row.
