We have seen multiple incidents of physical assault, stalking and harassment on campus in the last year alone, showing a disturbing trend in the culture of the campus. Reporting to the administration has drawn nothing more than a mild reprimand. (3/n)

However, SAU's arbitrary actions not only denied students this opportunity, but have also left a blot on academic freedom and a concerning precedent for student-led intitiatives.

Dr. Sinha's lecture was aimed at introducing to students a "radical" way of investigating and understanding economic, social and political crises. Such an approach is generally absent from Economics curricula and would have benefited students greatly. ++

His doctoral thesis culminated in a book published by Brill titled In the Valley of Historical Time (2024). His other publications include On the Caste Question(2019) and Subversive Interventions(2019).

Abhinav Sinha is a political economist and historian whose work explores themes of labour, crisis, and contemporary workers struggles. He received his PhD from the University of Delhi, where his research focused on the evolution of the labour movement in Delhi from 1970 onward.
