@kezhound I'm telling you I think mastodon might be a win er. It's established and been around for years, lots of people already there, and functionally you can use it like Twitter.

With a built in culture of adding descriptive text to images and content warnings on posts.

Still really enjoying it, and recommend people consider it as a Twitter alternative. It took me like 30 minutes to get it set up such that I basically have a tweetdeck layout, so don't let the instances and whatnot scare you.

It's kind of like being part of a subreddit. Doesn't really change much since you can follow whoever you want and whatever topic and hashtag.

@kezhound @KCyndari Yeah it seems like it really doesn't matter, so I joined one a couple friends are in.

Each server technically has its own rules and regs so make sure it's not something you hate.

Basically one you set up your follows like here, you can set up a home view of their toots

@KCyndari Yeah I think that hive is just no new it'll be hard to see how it goes. Seems more instagram-ish with app dependence and stuff. Mastadon feels like old school forums meets twitter now that I'm getting into it.
