@ZeroHedge_ Even though affordability was much greater 40-50 years ago, the tools with which to develop yourself - learn and acquire skills - or promote yourself, have never been more free, ubiquitous and available.
@profplum99 Ironic that it's in the tech Mecca.
Here in sunny LA, the RoBa at the Glendale Galleria has a line 10 deep.
My guess for what you observed: tired & time-pressed travelers go w/ what they know, instinctively preserving mental capital on stressful travel days.
@StemDeckApp If by "one by one" you mean only uploading 1 Mp3 to StemDeck at a time, then yes. I only drag/dropped 1 and it started processing until it gave me an error. I quit the app, tried it again several more times with diff mp3s. All same result.
@StemDeckApp I need help again.
I tried a few different mp3s and got "Error: Processing Failed" on all of them after about 30 seconds of processing, each time. Any suggestions here?
@dshephard No worries at all, regarding your Mac,In case that if you know it’s arm or intel, you can choose the dmg from the latest release here, in case that you don’t, let me know the Mac type that you have.

Investors are getting more optimistic about the market. A seven sentiment composite we follow is near its most negative reading possible. The only other time it has been as bearish (too much optimism) in the last five years was in June 2024. While the S&P finished that year higher, there was an 8.5% drop in July-August of that year that helped relieve some of that optimism. This is converging with a very low put volume reading (which is another sign of investor optimism), and a cycle headwind (see charts below). While our longer term sentiment readings aren't yet showing signs of a major top, a pullback should be expected to relieve some of the near term optimism.
Wanted to follow up on this post since it went crazy viral and blew up my account.
My day job is as a developer doing mostly data visualization and BI work. Although we don’t use $SNOW at work, I’ve been trying to get them to buy it for months. I’ve used it plenty in the past, and I know it’s an incredible product. I also know what’s happening in the world of BI, which is why I was so direct in the post, and probably why it went viral.
To all the new followers here, I’ve been trading for the last decade, with a heavy interest in semis over the past few years. I started https://t.co/VxoY59Ux22 a few months ago, mostly as something to mess around with because I was looking for this type of information. I figured if this kind of data interests me, it must interest other people too.
https://t.co/ih4VSkIZcr is a semiconductor data visualization platform. This account is meant to visualize data in the AI and semi trade. I’ll post my opinions and thoughts on the market, but I’m not a professional trader, and I’m not an engineer.
If you want to follow a brilliant engineer, follow @insane_analyst. If you want to follow a brilliant trader, follow @labubu_trader. Both of them provide a ton of alpha in their lanes.
I like to learn, dive deep, and form opinions. That’s investing for you.
Yes, the site is $10 a month. Sorry, not sorry for the paywall. I’m paying hundreds of dollars a month in API calls, hosting, and development costs. What I’m planning to add in the future will cost hundreds of dollars more. The database of semi data is 100GB+ and growing daily. We’re currently only serving 12GB of it.
If this thing can pay for itself, awesome. If not, that’s fine too. I don’t really care. I’ll keep building it out daily, with new features every night, until I lose my mind.
Once I’m happy with the layout and presentation, I’ll start onboarding companies in other markets like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and more.
To all the new followers, welcome. Let’s all make some money together!
@Crowded_Mkt_Rpt@KobeissiLetter Indeed. Leading into Memorial Day weekend there was widespread jubilation based on reports from Trump that a deal was essentially a fait accompli
Innocent until proven guilty: a legal principle that served Trump well thru his life and serves him well re: deal reports in this war
@gnoble79 I appreciate the caution while acknowledging it's impossible to know how far stocks will run.
In light of that, @jvisserlabs had a great suggestion - watch for 20 daily MA to cross the 50. If we're going down, no need to top tick sells.
There could be another year+ in this.
@GRCapital4 I was talking about crypto-miners. I have $HUT, $CLSK which are doing well. I also have $RIOT and $MARA which are doing less well. I sure was excited to see Aschenbrenner buy in to $CLSK and $RIOT
