@Tallmadafaka Lol, that's pretty funny. 😂 But, legitimately some of my biggest wins and most fun sets have been against pichu players. If I get a few good hard reads, pichu can die at like 50%. Poison gas, patooie trades, and his own chip damage help too imo.

@realplant1 Yeah, Im definitely on the extremely optimistic side. 😅 But, I actually feel plant is slept on and has a lot more potential. I think he does a pretty good job of controlling space and forcing trades/putting the opponent in bad situations. :)

My updated Plant matchup chart. 🪴 I legitimately think plant is a solid character with a skill ceiling of maybe the lower end of high tier. I truly feel he does not have any +3/-3 matchups. Every matchup is doable when controlling space appropriately. Solid matchup spread imo.

@0w0Cyan Yeah, I understand your perspective. I personally like the matchup because I like to apply more long distance pressure. Baiting out the refelector with poison and punishing with down b from a distance or patooie is pretty strong. I felt like that gameplay helped me against Zuhiy

@VinnyDSSBU Yeah, I understand. I think plant kill power can help balance it out through down b jump reads, but I get where you are coming from.

@0w0Cyan True, but if he doesnt grab you, you can wall him out pretty effectively with poison gas, down b for long distance pressure, and patooie. It's really a keep away game against him (especially with a lead). It's a really volatile even in my book. Whoever has a lead has big adv.

@VinnyDSSBU I can see it going either way. But, I would like to play against more duck hunts in the future. :) I need more experience to analyze it further tbh.

@VinnyDSSBU Ah, that's pretty interesting! I agree that that gunman is pretty strong in the matchup. The two areas that I think plant can make up for it, is the fact that patooie negates can by sending it far away, and that down b can be used to get through gunman camping.

@VinnyDSSBU Sure. Realistically, there are not many duck hunt players out there. Im lucky enough to get some experience with my friend Eli (Hague). But, Im all for debating the matchup. I find it a pretty fun one tbh.
