OG had an ugly shooting performance in Game 1 going just 2/9 from the field, but the underlying volume was still encouraging. He attempted 10 free throws in that game, which is excellent opportunity for a line sitting at only 14.5 points.

The matchup and game script should also benefit him here. Cleveland will likely apply more defensive pressure to Jalen Brunson after Game 1, which should open up more offensive opportunities for OG. Prior to last game, Anunoby had cleared this line in 6 straight games while averaging 23.2 PPG.

The Cavaliers struggle in several areas that fit OG’s shot profile. They allowed the 6th most catch-and-shoot attempts where OG takes 45% of his shots, along with the 2nd most right corner threes and 9th most above-the-break threes where 36% of his attempts come from. Cleveland has also allowed the 3rd most points in the restricted area during the playoffs, which is important since 45% of OG’s playoff shot attempts have come at the rim. His minutes were slightly limited in Game 1 with only 34 including overtime, but in his second game back he should return closer to his usual heavy workload.
