This healthcare provider should also realize that there is a Practice Act for Athletic Training in Missouri and that they are in violation of said practice act. (3/3)
Pretty condescending post, assuming we only need band aids to do our job. Even more condescending that this person is a Healthcare Provider in a field that requires a license to work as well. (2/3)

Here I was hoping that after the events in January (Damar Hamlin, Army Hockey) that the public might have a better understanding of our profession. Welp, that didnt last long. (1/3)
Y’all this is a reality for soooo many ATs not just in the collegiate setting.
“…and my job has become detrimental to every part of my life.”
Something needs to change and fast. Otherwise the AT shortage is only going to get worse.
I strongly disagree with the decision to allow Kamila to compete. It’s disheartening to see that the “rules are rules” for some athletes (who get ZERO leniency) and not for others. Unlevel playing ground on so many ways. A failed test is a failed test. This is not clean sport.
