@AverageJoeWo@googlefiber This is science fiction to us in the UK - youโd be lucky to get over 100mb (if that) in the average household!!! Most of us are still on copper
@UltraLinx Perfect! That chip is plenty and only 65w which is great. SF750 and you'll be looking good. The head-scratching begins when you start looking at custom cable lengths, optimal fan setup etc ๐
@OptimumTechYT is the man for all of that as others have mentioned!
@UltraLinx (cont) - Honestly, a low-profile air cooler with good Noctua fans will keep the noise low and the thermals down within a good range. Recently completed a build where that was the focus, as where you were. The NR200P MAX could also be a good option if you wanted more space.
@UltraLinx Depends on what parts you put in. TBH, with the 4080 FE cooler being overkill on a 300w card, it'll run cool and quiet in there, especially with a simple undervolt
CPU-wise, that's where I would look at what CPU. For gaming only, a 13400f (intel) or a 5600x is plenty.
Interesting Thread. I had never really considered it in this detail but there has been a trend towards "simplification" in every facet of society it seems. Cost is a major factor for this I'd assume, good eye-opener nevertheless!
@NortFX Ah right okay, photoshop is decent but XD of figma is killer for prototyping before build.
Sounds good - Squarespace should be fine tbh ๐ happy to help if you have any web related questions! โ๏ธ
