@NoLayingUp@DJPie@TronCarterNLU@BigRandyNLU My friends and I are in our late 30s and we have a phrase we continue to say to one another: "leave room to be pleasantly surprised."
One of my favorite pods of the year. DJs way to talk about the game of golf is spieth-like GOAT levels
@DJPie , rooting for pleasant surprises!
@JADubin5 Ya it seems playoffs get that way.
But 82. Different opponent every few days is tough. Nfl gets a week to prepare.
Supply and demand owners. Come on now!
@JADubin5 This is well stated. Thank you.
I always get the sense that the people who are saying that aren't active viewers. 82 games is too much. I sincerely believe it's because of that people are not watching games.
@LeverNews@SenWhitehouse What would you say is the best way to locally get involved in the last episodes call to action?
Thank you for all the hard work on this. A true labor of love. Arduous I'm sure but evermore important.
@NoLayingUp@TronCarterNLU@highnoonsunsips@KVanValkenburg@BigRandyNLU Also, who is the heartbeat of this US team? I feel has been a combo of homa/spieth/jt/Reed in past team events. Who conjures feelings within teammates? Is the takeaway "i played poorly today?" Or "dang we are losing. How do we turn this around?"
@NoLayingUp@TronCarterNLU@highnoonsunsips@KVanValkenburg , @BigRandyNLU the missing secret sauce of alt shot and team chemistry could lie in collective "we" culture (Europe, international ) vs individualistic "me" culture (usa).
Sometimes, the us feels like guys who never played a team sport learn for a week to try.
@kclairerogers A rainout after about 6 holes ... I found my teammates having a slip and slide length (bellyflop) completion on a Hill in one of the fairways
- a few guys who intorduced their golf ball like -- ("Titleist 1, Titleist 2, Titleist 1 with dot... a Paul Molitor with his 1993 stats)
