@spinohockey I really think Ehlers wasn’t going to sign long term and Chevy knew that. Because of the Jets success in finishing first overall,Chevy was in a pickle similar to the the Leafs with Marner. Having said that Chevy should have traded Ehlers prior to that season.
@JamieThomasTV All these draft analysts have a different perspective on each of these prospects and where they will be drafted. Just hope Jets take the best player available regardless of need. There is always a team that will take a player not ranked higher .
@JFreshHockey@randohoceytakes Problem with the Jets is they let their prospects marinate in the Minors too long. Salomonsson will be a regular next season once he recovers from his injury. Lambert should be a regular next season or maybe a tradable asset.
@WPGMurat I see a quality defenceman at this pick for the Jets . Leafs will pick McKenna, San Jose will pick Chase Reid and the Canucks will pick Caleb Maholtra.
@WPGMurat@KMooreCJOB Whoever the Jets pick at seventh will most likely be their best prospect, which is sad statement in itself. The Jets minor league development needs an overhaul. It hasn’t been the same since Pascal Vincent left.
@MarkLazerus Surprised this even allowed in hockey venues. This should be a player safety issue. Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg prohibits glass banging . It is a strict safety policy.
@WPGMurat My take is Hellebuyck did not voice his concerns to management especially after listening to Chevy’s presser today. Chevy and Arniel had a couple of days to come up with a response to Hellebuyck’s comments.
@WPGMurat Maybe the Jet organization needed a bad season like this as a wake up call because as Hellebuyck said “There is complacency by the organization”. There needs to be a major audit from top to bottom to get back on track.
