When Jesus called himself the Good Shepherd, that meant more than people realize.
A shepherd didnβt just own sheep, he lived with them, knew each one, and stayed when things got dangerous.
Jesus didnβt say βIβm a good teacher.β He said βIβm the Good Shepherd.β A teacher gives advice and leaves. A shepherd stays. He knows every mess youβve made and still calls you his.
Sheep wander, so do we, but heβs the one who comes after us and brings us back. Weβre not strong enough to find our own way.
We just have a Shepherd faithful enough to lead us home.
@ADudeFromNowere Daylight later in the evenings during the summer is the best. More time for activities. Now it will be dark in the drive home from work. Legislators picked wrong.
