I have things I want to talk about, so I will likely keep doing some oddball subjects on the show.

I've been really wanting to do a deep dive on character attributes in OD&D. I figure about 12 people want to watch that, oh well...

I also finally solved a problem with my alternate OD&D magic system. I need to thank Gary Gygax for this idea. His commentary sparked it in my mind.

We never really plan our shows out too much. I try to think up a subject and then we roll the camera and see what happens. There is no script.

For some reason the show linked below resonated a lot for people - no idea why this and not another.

It's all just Dungeons & Dragons, right?

@MadScientist_42 @memeslich Haha alright.. well plate armor is worn over gambeson. Believe it or not armorers figured out maces bad for armor and left room for that deflection. Are you saying if bomb went off in the middle of a party, the rogue in leather would be less injured than a fighter in full kit?

@MadScientist_42 @memeslich Well yeah as is the wizard, ranger, druid, etc etc. Ide say the fighter has the best chance as the armor would protect from the force damage and heat for a short time (which fireball is short in “reality”) I know the game scores it as fire but seems more explosive to me.
