If I were an ACC or Big 12 school I’d be PO’ed unless they are going to account for the disparity in pay. This basically makes it impossible to move up to a conference that pays more, which is anti-competitive.

It basically says if you’re in a league that makes $40M less than the Big Ten you are stuck there. I can’t imagine it would hold up in court if challenged.

It doesn’t hurt the Big Ten or SEC, but it definitely hurts the Miamis, Clemsons, and Tx Techs.
