@SoccerwithDoug FIFA is so entrenched that I don't see anything like this happening. I think FIFA can only be changed from within or by the Swiss government finally getting tired of this corrupt organization and taking it over. I don't see either happening soon.

@texanLFClover @CCupo Governments have long been able to influence FIFA, usually with money. Personally, I'm guessing FIFA wants the US in the tournaments for as long as possible due to TV ratings, thus they suspend the punishment.
