@puppertoshi2@sola_chad It's sad many churches fall into your list, but not all protestant/non-denom churches do. If you believe God, there must be at least one:
Mat 16:18: "And I say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock will my church be based, and the doors of hell will not overcome it."
@sola_chad If this is true, in vain Christ came down to Earth. No need for another Savior, after all Mary was "sinless" and had great power to intercede, so why sending Christ?
"Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
@MelissaSal12516 @MalcangiSarah Hi sister! Please read the whole chapter:
Rom 11:18: "Do not be uplifted in pride over the branches: because it is not you who are the support of the root, but it is by the root that you are supported."
The truth is God hasn't finished with Israel and we should not boast against.
If one is born unable to clearly see and understand revealed truth in such a way that they may come out from under God’s wrath by putting their trust in Him, then how is that not a valid excuse for their continued unbelief?
“Many are called, but few are elect.” - Jesus
This is “the moral of the story” told by Jesus in Matthew 22 about those called to the Wedding Banquet versus those chosen to enter.
What was the condition to be elected for entrance? Coming clothed in the proper wedding garments. Not nationality, because the invitation went first to Jew and then all nations. And the condition isn’t morality, because the call went out to “the good and the bad alike.”
But that doesn’t mean there are NO conditions. There clearly is a condition. You must come in response to the gospel clothed in the righteousness of Christ by faith to be of those elected for entrance into the Heavenly Banquet.
Election according to Jesus is NOT unconditional.
@MAClark85 If you acknowledge that people have the freedom to accept or reject (suppress) the truth then there is no reason to disagree with this statement though the “invading” language may seem too strong for some.
Yes, we believe no one has an excuse for their unbelief (Rom 1:20).
@elonmusk@elonmusk Thinking as developer: what if tweet's author manipulates a much liked tweet? Think of first posting "I like SpaceX", then after many retweets, he changes content to "I like killing people". How would that look?
