Interviewed a job candidate with PhD for a data scientist position on my team. His data case study tho betrayed a clear lack of data science fundamentals. Even refused to revise it when offered thanks to strong CV. Pro tip: fundamentals and tenacity go a long way in DS interview!

So now I’m in a cab with someone else’s luggage heading back to LGW. Fortunately, they located my luggage and all I have to do is waste two hours on the road going back and forth between airport and hotel.

Oh and guess what? In the midst of booking new flights and a hotel plus not sleeping for 24 hrs by now, I took someone else’s luggage and came all the way to my hotel in London. I realized it when I was literally getting ready to take a shower.
