I will curb my language but that tweet is disgusting. You profess to be an advocate of human rights, and the right to be treated with dignity after death is a basic human right everyone should have, yet you rejoice in her death. Yes, her religion guided her views on equality issues, and I had many disagreements with her, but as a gay man I counted her as a friend, as did many others. She was actually a profoundly kind person. She endorsed my candidacy knowing of my sexuality. She softened her views on equal marriage and told me in 2019 she would not support reversing it.
So be ashamed of yourself today, Peter. You do some great work, but in this instance it's you that's the bigot. Bigoted against the dead, and bringing upset to those of us who counted Ann as a friend. Think on that.

Erica Komisar said this on Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO. Little boys have a huge testosterone surge between ages 3–6. They need to run, jump, wrestle, and move constantly. Instead, we put them in classrooms that reward sitting still, regulating emotions, and being quiet — behaviors that come more naturally to girls. When they can’t, we label them as disordered.

Boys’ schools get this — they do short lessons then let the kids run around multiple times a day. Regular schools don’t.

It feels like we’ve built an education system that works better for one type of kid and then act surprised when the other type struggles or gets medicated.

These early labels follow boys for years and can damage their confidence and self-image long-term. We’re not letting boys be boys.

It depresses me but I fear Britain will have to go through another disastrous social democratic experiment, perhaps under the guise of Burnham's mythic "Manchesterism". There'll be rent controls, supermarket price caps, even higher minimum wages, a borrowing splurge to fund value-destroying schemes. Private development will be shoved aside unless it meets the plan and the state will try to direct the savings of ordinary families to their programme. We might get a wealth tax, probably in the form of a supercharged council tax system, and there'll be an assortment of windfall taxes as inflation surges on the back of higher and higher public borrowing. The only growth, which the state will brag about of course, will be growth from billions in inflationary spending by the government. At the end of this something may snap and the voters might turn to a return to radical liberalism again. Either that or Lord Woodhouselee's fear - the collapse of democracy and the return of tyranny.

In his debate with Gary Priestley, Gary Stevenson claims he makes so much money on the markets, his kids will be multimillionaires, while also claiming that everyone else cannot afford to feed their kids or keep the heating on.

Strange then, that after a hiatus last year, his return video announced the launch of his Patreon, directly asking his audience, whom he describes as struggling, to fund his work.

He explained that, despite his massive personal wealth, he needs their support to create more 'ambitious' and 'creative' content beyond simple talking-head videos. Yet since launching the Patreon, he has released 22 videos in the exact same format, with fewer guests than in earlier periods.

He has 2,121 paid subscribers on Patreon, meaning that at a minimum he makes £153k a year from his viewers. He likely makes a similar amount from ad revenue alone, let alone the millions he claims to make on the markets.

His entire platform is built on the idea that the rich extract wealth from everyone else. The brazen hypocrisy of him doing this to his own viewers, in the most direct way possible, is incredible.

7 in every 1000 Africans is a slave TODAY: 10 MILLION people

It took 300 years for 10M slaves to cross the Atlantic 🤦‍♂️

And the Arab Slave Trade in Africans continues TODAY!

So where are the protests outside the embassies & high commissions of Nigeria, Sudan, Mali, Chad etc? Utterly contemptible.

This is not about slavery at all. This is an attack on Britain, America and the West.

Slavery is universal and as old as man.

What was unique was the Christian evangelical movement that spread across Britain, America and Western Europe that led to the West ending its BRIEF involvement in slavery.

Never forget: Britain was the first country in world history to deliberately make itself poorer in the pursuit of a moral good - i.e. the vast sums it expended enforcing an end to the slave trade on land and the high seas.

We must call this nonsense out.
