Such a fun May The Forth be with you! Started with CT & coding activities thanks to our amazing @csforlcps team! Then we met in the garden for some hands on science fun! 1st time being together all year! @DominionTrailES
Wrapping up our first corn 🌽 grown in the "backyard garden"! This plant has given countless lessons and happiness. We 😍 the pretty colors on this decorative Indian corn and how tall the stalks grew! #schoolgarden#gardenvolunteers#dtesgarden@DTESPrincipal@DtesPta
Look what came in the mail! 😍🌼🌸🌱 Second grade--wanna help plant these next to the fountain in the Rainbow Courtyard??? Thank you 🙏 @SaveOurMonarchs for the pollinator garden mix! 🦋🌱🐝 @DTESPrincipal@DtesPta
Remember those warm days in dec? These bulbs (total of 10) sprang up! Thankfully @robbinsfirstgrd 1st graders planted around 70 various bulbs so there will be a spring show 😉. AND HOW AWESOME IS NATURE!?? @weltens2ndGrade the pansies are still with flowers! @DominionTrailES
Hands on learning is the best! Thanks for helping clean out the beds and plant the tough little flowers. I'm confident they will be smiling at all DTES soon 😀
@DominionTrailES@DtesPta we worked with Mrs. Brody to understand what plants need to grow and look forward to seeing their changes throughout the seasons. The boxes are now full of pansies and we can’t wait to see them peek their heads over in the spring.
This mum is huge and gorgeous! See the little mum in the purple tire? It was nearly dead when it was planted this fall. But with water and care it's looking good and will one day be as full and vibrant as it's neighbor that has a few years head start ;) @DominionTrailES
Did you know there's a "Berry Garden" in the making near the kindergartens? Thanks Garrett for helping get 3 raised beds built #EagleProject@boyscouts 🙏 @MeadowsFarmsNurseries for the dirt. Next phase: fence and plants🌿🍓🌻 @DominionTrailES@DTESPrincipal@DtesPta
