@OliLondonTV From a trans-obsessed opening ceremony, to triathletes vomiting from a polluted Seine river, to an Olympic village of cardboard beds and no air conditioning, to a female boxer being pummeled by a man, the Paris Olympics are proving to be a smorgasbord of woke failures.
@OliLondonTV IOC: “Every person has the right to practise sport without discrimination.”
Me: Absolutely, in their own category, and always ensuring safety and fairness.
You people are insane. About 1% of the population claims to be trans. You are allowing them to make the rules for the 99%. It is clear that this man is superior physically and it is unfair for him to compete with biological women. Make all of the excuses that you want but the men that are competing this year as women are winning all of their events and will end up taking all of the gold medals from women that have worked for years to excel against other women. Shame on you.
@OliLondonTV The arrogance and blind ignorance is staggering.
woman need to be protected from male aggressors pretending to be women.
Go after the money
@OliLondonTV This is why we need to go after the money and call out the companies that think men beating women in a boxing ring aligns with their values and ethics.
INSENSITIVE and IMMATURE people.
They’re all over X and social media.
Suicide
Depression
Other mental illnesses
Is NOT something you joke around with for “marketing”.
A couple of days ago…
I posted a tweet about my grandmother committing suicide—an incident that happened a decade ago.
Some people think it’s for marketing and attention!?
I wanted to share that story because it holds so much power to bring someone back from the edge of that cliff.
It holds power to educate people of depression being a silent killer. That sometimes a smile could be a facade hiding that loneliness and depression.
But at the same time…
It’s a stored trauma within me. We never talked about it in our family. No one wants to remember that incident.
Recalling the details hurt.
One day, I’ll find enough courage to share that full story with its emotional weight.
I don’t get why some people think this topic can be a joke. They think it’s fake, a ploy to grab attention, or do marketing.
If you don’t know what someone has been through, DON’T ASSUME.
Your words have weight when it comes to sensitive topics…
Especially on topics relating to mental illnesses.
Attention is the last thing that’s going through someone’s mind when they’re at the edge of that cliff.
And NO.
You not following female creators is NOT a flex.
It’s a disgrace.
It shows how immature you are.
If you can’t differentiate between what’s crossing the line or not, simply just shut the fuck up.
Your opinion is not needed.
Thanks!
“We’re DONE!”
Tears were cascading down my face as I sat on this bench in this neighboring park.
I used to admire the beauty of this place with neatly aligned trees and bushes.
They brought me calm and peace.
But not this time.
The jacket I was clinging to was drenched with salty tears.
It was like my heart was stabbed multiple times.
A wave of overwhelming sadness washed over me.
As the saying goes:
“The first is often the toughest.”
It was indeed.
But it wasn’t just that.
I was afraid.
I was afraid that I’d never be able to walk out of this darkness.
My eyes were wide open, but I couldn’t quite see the journey ahead of me.
Will I be able to get over this breakup?
Will I even be able to find someone else who’d love me for who I am?
I don’t know.
All I knew was that her words rang in my head like an alarm on steroids.
I feel lonely at times. I can’t connect with you spiritually.
I’ve lost feelings for you. It’s like I see you only as a friend right now.
Have you thought about having a family and kids? Should our kids be baptized or not?
IT’S OVER…
-------------------------
Moments ago…
Beep.
A notification appeared on my phone.
“We should talk. Let’s meet at the void deck!”
This was the only text I’ve received in the last 24 hours.
It’s worse.
We haven’t even met in the last two weeks.
What’s happening between us?
We used to send each other good morning and good night texts.
We used to reply at least once every hour.
We used to meet two to three times a week.
Now?
Everything seems to be falling apart.
Our bridge of love is crumbling.
What happened to “once upon a time”?
I stood there pondering as I waited for her arrival but deep down, I was dreading the worst possible outcome.
A few minutes later…
She exited from the lift lobby holding my jacket in her arms.
The jacket that kept her warm.
The jacket that she loved so much.
The jacket that she found safety and comfort in.
She’d hand them back to me in the next couple of seconds.
A symbol of our love.
“Here you go,” she said.
The rest was history…
-------------------------
After weeping tears of sorrow on the bench for what seemed to be an eternity…
I met my friends at an already planned outing to sing at a karaoke.
My emotions overflowed as I was half sobbing and mumbling throughout the entire session.
I seek no comfort and solace despite the fancy bright lights and lovely music.
(It must’ve been horrible listening to me. But they still put up with it anyway. This is why I’m thankful for my friends whom I call bros)
Crying is supposed to help me release those pent-up emotions, right?
But why does it still hurt so much?
Why does my chest still feel so tight?
Why do I feel like I can barely breathe?
I headed home late that night.
It was past 12 a.m.
Everyone else was asleep.
But I was just staring at the ceiling.
Thinking about the good times we used to have.
Cuddling in bed.
Sharing an ice cream.
Catching a movie together.
Still trying to process everything that happened that day.
I cried myself to sleep that night.
In silence.
It felt lonely.
I felt depressed.
It was such a long and difficult night that I wished all of it didn’t happen.
At this point, you’d be wondering…
Did I ever come back from this devastation?
It was the lowest point in my life then.
The next morning…
My mum was slathering peanut butter over her sandwich.
And I couldn’t hold it in any longer.
I broke down on the dining table.
My mum glanced over in my direction.
What she did next took me by surprise…
She reached out and gave me a tight squeeze.
I couldn’t even recall when was the last time she did that.
But there’s more.
In the comfort of her warm embrace, she simply whispered these words into my ears.
Three words that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
“You deserve better.”
As I’m writing this, tears are already welling in my eyes.
But that wasn’t all.
As I opened up to another close friend about this situation…
She initiated a meet-up to talk about this.
These situations made me realize the importance of having a strong support system.
My friends and family members were always there for me.
Today, I have a beautiful girlfriend.
I’ve moved on from my past.
Because I know I deserve better!
No one should ever have to go through the devastation of a breakup.
But if you ever do so in life.
If you ever have to deal with any HUGE rejections in life.
I’d like you to remember this message.
You.
Deserve.
Better.
Now I want you to say these words.
Repeat after me.
I DESERVE BETTER.
Yes! You do!
Twitter right now hates good creators.
I can literally see bad/generic content perform 10x than good content.
So if you’re still here putting content consistently.
I appreciate you.
You’re gonna make it in the long run.

5 days ago, I hosted my first Twitter Spaces.
🔸 164 people showed up
🔸 Gained 22 followers
🔸 Made 3 friends
If you’re thinking about running spaces.
JUST DO IT!
Steal this blueprint for running a successful space:
My photo skill sucks.
I finally used a decent photo for my newsletter.
After:
🔸 Trying out 6 different angles.
🔸 Taking 47 different photos.
🔸 Experimenting on 17 different filters.
You’ll only see that one photo.
Not the effort that goes behind the scenes.
