People think the life of a world-class athlete is an easy one.

But Graham Thorpe is a sad reminder that it’s not as easy as people think ⤵️

After playing professional cricket for 27 years… in August 2024 Graham Thorpe took his own life.

Yet, everyone looks at world-class athletes and thinks it’s an easy life:

→ They have big mansions.
→ Get paid millions of pounds.
→ Are loved by 1000s of supporters.

But the truth is, the life of a world-class athlete is far from an easy one.

Because you have to deal with:

→ Incredible amounts of pressure.
→ Constant criticism from the media & fans.
→ Not to mention the personal sacrifices as well.

Truthfully, this list could go on & on.

And Graham is a sad reminder of the toll this can take on athletes.

(He’s one of many who struggled with life as a world-class athlete & life after retirement)

And that’s why all world-class athletes have to work so hard on their mindset & mental health.

Because the world of being a top-level athlete can be a brutal & draining one.
↳ And it’s the same story when it comes to business too.

So I want to take this opportunity to ask anyone who is struggling with mental health to please reach out to someone.

I’d also like to send my condolences & best wishes to Graham’s family & friends.

It’s a sad reminder that the life of a world-class performer isn’t as easy as it may seem from the outside looking in.
