The only difference for me is the button is less fun and engaging…feels less rewarding too. Maybe I’m just biased and used to rhythm after using it all 25. 🤷🏽‍♂️ The stick also makes hop shot activation at any angle more consistent (which I use a lot).

And I feel like rhythm shooting is just a more intuitive way to shoot as it’s easier to match what you’re seeing with a two motion input as opposed to a button press and release. It just makes perfect sense for controlling a shot animation, that’s probably why some people may be better using it. It’s just a better way to shoot.

What I don’t understand is - if rhythm shooting is so easy and advantageous why is this where people suddenly draw the line when it comes to gaining a competitive advantage? You cats will do anything else to win but when it comes to flicking down & up on your joystick it’s just too much. Nah yall just don’t like it (which is totally fine) - but then you lose to people who use it and need an excuse. Stop the crying.

Another thing for #NBA2K26...asking once again for yall to up the VC payouts across all modes. Allow dedicated players to be rewarded for their time. If folks are playing your game 5+ hours a day, they shouldn't have to be opening their wallets to afford in game content. I swear if I load up on 26 and I get 1,500 VC for a HOF difficulty MyCareer game on 10 minute quarters... 🤣And fix the daily/weekly/seasonal quest VC payouts too. Shit used to be 10K, now it's only 500-2,500? Why is a quest that's gonna require me to play multiple mycareer games to complete paying out the same VC as a 5 minute Daily Streetball challenger pick up game? If you really want to see why people complain about the game, shit like this is why. The money grab is flagrant and a lot of shit doesn't make sense. Btw, we never got the "25% off MyCareer apparel" for hitting Vet 3 either. Perfect compensation would be cutting the prices by 25% in 26 (in addition to increased payouts across all modes). @NBA2K
