This past weekend, Josh Kerr claimed a stunning world 3000m indoor gold medal in Glasgow with 7:42.98 🥇
His last indoor 3000m in Glasgow prior to the World Indoors was in 2015 when Kerr clocked 9:11.76 at a BMC event aged 17 🏴

Making A World Champion
An interview with @BeastsTC coach @dtmack

🗣️“I still haven’t processed it. I haven't celebrated at all, I had to go back to work and take care of my daughter. Actually, I woke her up from her nap to watch Josh win because I was like, ‘He might do it, so let's wake her up just so she will remember’....It's been three weeks, so I don't know if I'll ever process it."
🗣️ "We did a couple of key workouts as we got closer to Worlds where we were hitting cutdown splits each 100m – because all that data is online. If you can do it, which is not easy to do in practice, then you have a chance to win....I looked at it as getting his body and mind ready to do that stuff."

@JeffCoover Volk versus Islam is the fight I was referring too.
Islam actually has gotten banned but it was a minor infraction. And his coaching staff is suspect for valid reasons.
Volkanovski has not had suspicion, same with his coaching staff.
I told Josh about these 2 UFC, one had a doping history, never banned but cloudy. The other was clean.
The doped one was “better” but the longer the fight went on the clean athlete started to break the will of the other fighter. Clean athletes are champions. Dopers are weak.
Danny was an original whistleblower on the Nike Oregon Project case
Before I even knew who he was, he'd gone to USADA. He went through 10 years of whistleblowing. Putting his livelihood on the line
The then Nike Global director of athletics once threatened to kill him
