Shri. Pramod Agrawal, Chairman, CIL witnessed a live demonstration of CIL's drone procured by CMPDI. Drones using LiDAR sensors will help in volumetric measurements of excavation, OB dumps, coal stocks, UG mine fire, ortho-photo mosaic of plantations, settlement mapping etc.
