My most benign opinion is that the gratuity of violence is more important to the creator than the plot which is very common in the horror genre, but you can't tell a terrifier fan that at all.

"Where evil lurks" has some of the most gruesome scenes I've ever seen in a horror film-two of them happen to kids- but they don't feel cheap and just for shock like terrifier. Idk maybe I'm low-brow for not loving that shitty clown😔

You find out after the 3rd movie he has disciples the reveals after that are always who the disciples are
