The trend is moving away from monolithic rigidity to more flexible structures organized around value creation:
Corporate 9-5s (selling your value)
Gig economies (renting your value)
DAOs (owning your value)

The strategy switching paradox.
It is the constant search for outperformance that leads us to underperform. Instead the key lies in scalable strategies with risk aversion traits.
In short the hotter the market the more trades pop up and the more range/trend they give you, yet all of them are played the same way.
As the market cools down less stocks meet your criteria and you are protected by less trades being taken/showing up.
Outperformance in good times and risk aversion in bad ones.
A large portion of super investors and traders outperform through shallow losses during bad times. This saved capital then compounds in good times.
Passage from investing for growth (pages 67,68) which talks about this phenomenon.
Daily reminders
1. The crowd will turn Euphoric at resistance.
2. You're supposed to place buys before the resistance, not at the resistance.
3. The 'sentiment' just shows the Bias of the masses and the masses don't make money.

Bitcoin needs a narrative, and it helps that it has no singular identity, but instead is some kind of chameleon asset.
Regardless of your opinion on the Blackrock ETF (It is huge for more reasons than one), this is now a new narrative the market can bid on behalf of.
Yeah, this market is stupid, but the point of markets is that they are stupid time to time, and your job is to milk that.
One of the most important subjects in trading is knowing when to take action and when not to take action.
In times like these doing nothing could be a big W.
To all my new followers who have joined the past few weeks, aren't familiar with narrative trading; and think they may be 'too late to enter a narrative'.
Here's some examples.
You'll find:
-these can take 2-4 weeks to play out.
-are often better played as spot swing trades
7 narratives for the next bubble
During the last bull market we had many topics that payed off: DeFi summer, Layer 1s, NFTs, unsustainable ponzinomics, metaverse, etc etc.
Since some gigabrains say we may be given another bull in the future, what could the narratives be?

Last week was Cumberlandโs most active week ever. Beneath the chaos and explosive volumes, the FTX bankruptcy has triggered some important market structure changes ๐งต๐
I've been seeing a lot of crypto "OGs" talk about quitting lately.
I understand the sentiment, I do. Many were singing the praises of Sam and FTX as recently as last week, and now feel they've been had. It sucks to feel deceived.
But you can't quit.
