Watching this I felt sorry for Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and the people of Somalia.

I saw how some in Somalia barraged the East African Community countries by insulting Swahili and Bantu culture.

Here is a fellow Muslim country with an Arab president warning his people by using Somalia as an example in front of their president.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi knew he was going against diplomatic norms and that is why he apologized several times through that speech but he was essentially telling Egyptians to not be like Somalia and it's unfortunate it was said in front of HSM.

While some Somalians disparaged Bantu and Swahili people, an Arab leader disparaged their country in front of their president.

I hope that Somalis will come to see the EAC as an ally rather than an enemy.
