@UEzy86@NoodleHairCR7 slams him on the ground? watch the video judes momentum is what caused messi to fall and jude drives through. messi did wrap an arm over the neck but judes momentum clearly brought them down.
@KordusTheKing@misakisama111@kingkofiii@NoodleHairCR7 but thats not the narrative people are pushing in the comments. they are claiming it was only bad calls for argentina when the calls for both teams were absolute shit the whole game.
@Hid133055188888@FutOffsides@rich_commm because this is very clearly onside. look at the color of the grass, now look where messi's foot is relative to the border, now look at the other players, they are very clearly further down the pitch. it's 100% this horrible angle that's confusing people
I think *all* of math is relevant to cognitive systems.
We need real pure mathematicians together discussing novel structures to model aspects of generalized cognitive systems
If you know ~grad level math, please join my group. The power is distributed among mathematicians.
I’m kind of a fan of OpenAI’s decision to devote some resources to math. Obviously there’s a PR aspect but I much prefer a pdf signed “OpenAI” to the new trend of signing one’s name to short arxiv preprints to which one didn’t contribute anything meaningful.
Here’s a passage from some short story by DFW which I think is really relevant for a lot of ppl on this part of Twitter:
“The fraudulence paradox was that the more time and effort you put into trying to appear impressive or attractive to other people, the less impressive or attractive you felt inside -- you were a fraud. And the more of a fraud you felt like, the harder you tried to convey an impressive or likable image of yourself so that other people wouldn't find out what a hollow, fraudulent person you really were.”
