Knits on demand. Live now on @FourthwallHQ.
I'm thrilled about this launch. Brand new manufacturing tech. Knitted on demand (no minimums). And the quality is SO GOOD.
It's a legit 10x upgrade. And it's only on Fourthwall
Premium knitwear. On demand. Only on Fourthwall 🧶
For the first time ever, you can design and sell high-quality, custom knit sweaters right from your Fourthwall dashboard.
@puellamagiverri I’m biased but think @Fourthwall is the best for most streamers, since we let chat gift merch to other chatters. That boosts sales by 2-3x for most streamers
First, I wanted to say that I don’t expect to change your opinion here (I know some people don’t want AI, which is totally cool. We made sure that every creator on FW can toggle it off to completely remove it from their experience).
As to the why, I’m an engineer by training and am always striving to build the best possible platform for creators to make and sell products online. To that end, there are some places in which AI is genuinely additive. For example:
- Can you hide every product that’s over 21d old
- Can you move all my t-shirt designs up one inch
- Can create an individual promo code for everyone that’s spent over $100 this year
Each of these is a type of busywork/admin task that’s both time-consuming for creators and also hard to build into a traditional web UX. Ai is really effective at enabling these types of things by chaining together multiple actions.
In the past, our support team often manually handled these for creators, because they were so timing consuming. Spending less time here freed us help to help with more 1:1 human strategy and support: we’ve been able to offer roughly 50% more onboarding/success calls so far this year.
We didn’t do this because AI is en vogue for tech platforms or anything. We did it, because it makes complex administrative tasks much simpler, which frees up more time for the actual creative work. Based on usage at least, that idea has resonated: it’s the most used feature that we’ve ever launched.
That said, I know it’s not for everyone, and we made sure it’s trivial to toggle off / remove. It’s okay to not use this or disable it entirely. It’s also okay if you decide that you don’t want to use FW any more, because we added this.
But I wanted to share the motivations at least, and why it helps free up time for us (to help with more 1:1 strategy / success work for creators) and helps other creators spend less time on admin work.

@SayinSays@Fourthwall Rather your DMs aren't on. Mind messaging me or emailing me at [email protected]?
I'll dig in here. I thought we had fixed this but must be some remaining edge case. Will get it sorted
We've continued to invest in real people and have grown our team over the last year. That will continue.
Obviously this bug isn't great (will be fixed shortly), but we've meaningfully reduced the numbers of bugs on FW over the last 12mo and the site is measurably faster (80% based on our page load metrics).
Yes. But perhaps for a non-obvious reason. We still prioritize and merchandise the highest quality & most premium options as the defaults throughout the catalog.
But there's a cohort of users that are looking for one specific item, and if they don't find it, they'll look elsewhere.
Our goal is to help them discover that item. Then we can introduce them to the rest to make sure they can hit the right quality bar for their audience / community.
5 new AS Colour blanks are now live on @Fourthwall.
AS Colour is S-Tier for standard apparel blank quality.
Excited to offer more of these to all creators on Fourthwall
@frequencydesign@Fourthwall Yes but the photo is a tad misleading, since the sides are folded / ironed to exactly match the available print area.
That said, these renders are true to scale for actual jumbo prints, which are fully achievable
