@KeepCosGreen@VOGCouncil Was here yesterday; took FP W. from Pen-y-Turnpike Rd. Seemed OK, until an incredibly muddy field, then thick brambles round the back of the farm. We thought we could cut our way through and reach the road, but gave up as it was getting dark, so retraced our steps. Unbelievable.
@LadytronFashion Did you have far to walk when you got off the bus from Brentwood? I remember you showed me around Stondon Massey one time and we had a drink in the pub.
We went to Brentwood last year. We did a walk to there from Epping. I like the countryside around there.
@LadytronFashion In my scenario, they are both dumbfounded by something, but the stance of the figure on the left didn't quite fit. I had to ignore something I did actually see, but couldn't process. Now, I see what you describe. The man on the left is relaxing his body having exerted himself.
@LadytronFashion It's as if the two figures have been confronted with something extraordinary. I guess it reminds me a bit of that scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey, where the astronaut emerges into a parallel universe and, still wearing his space suit, he wanders through the rooms of a house.
@LadytronFashion Yes, he tuned the piano, but when he'd finished, the piano wasn't in tune, although to be fair it was probably a hard piano to tune. Then he walked off up the road, pulling a trolley or something, and I followed him, at a distance, and you took some photos.
@LadytronFashion Yes. It might be a bit too literal, but the idea was that it was 'the times we HAD', and no longer being together, so the word is broken or incomplete.
@LadytronFashion That's at the end. In the middle section, 'together' comes round a few times, where it's you slowed down, plus two of me at normal speed mixed in with it. Plus there's a 'hihat' in that section which is the 't...' from my 'together'.
@LadytronFashion There's a bit on the original where you sang the word 'together' on one of the outro choruses. I sampled it, but because everything is slowed down, it didn't sound right, so I added my own voice singing over the top. The effect of that I thought sounded a bit like Spandau Ballet.
