the term “cultural reset” gets thrown around a lot these days but let’s talk about an ACTUAL one

ok but as someone who loves aespa’s lore, i found it so cool how giselle’s line in dirty work, “i’m always watching”, fits perfectly with her power to see things from afar.

we’ve always known about her xenoglossy but aespa mvs have also been hinting at her other ability, which is seeing distant places or even opening portals, like they showed in the parallel line vcr.

and the “i’m always watching” line is literally what giselle did throughout armageddon. it’s especially clear in that scene where she’s watching through that giant marble thing.

and the “call me the reaper, i’m knock knock knocking” line is so cold, but right before that, her lines went “mafia ties going back to the old world” like we already know aespa’s concept is rooted in the multiverse, and i really wanna see more of how they expand on that.

i just love how aespa keeps building their lore.
