وسط تنامي التوافق الاستراتيجي بين إسرائيل والسعودية حول الخطر الحوثي - الإيراني وذلك بعد محاولات السفن السعودية للمرور وهي مطفئة أنظمة التتبع والرصد، تعود إدراجها بعد تهديدات الحوثي

أول تعهد صريح من صوماليلاند بالمساعدة في تأمين مضيق باب المندب إشارة إلى دور أمني إقليمي أوسع بعد تنامي علاقاتها الاستراتيجية مع إسرائيل. ورغم أن البيان لا يشير مباشرة إلى إسرائيل، فإن توقيته يوحي بأن هرجيسا تُموضع نفسها بشكل متزايد كشريك في الأمن البحري في أحد أكثر الممرات المائية توتراً في العالم

وقال هاريي إن صوماليلاند تظل ملتزمة بإنفاذ القانون البحري الدولي وتعزيز التعاون لضمان حرية الملاحة والتجارة الدولية عبر هذا الممر الاستراتيجي.
يأتي البيان في وقت تستمر فيه الديناميكيات الأمنية في البحر الأحمر في التطور بعد هجمات الحوثيين على السفن التجارية، وبعد فترة وجيزة من إضفاء صوماليلاند طابعاً رسمياً على التعاون الاستراتيجي مع إسرائيل، وهو تطور زاد من الأهمية الجيوسياسية للقرن الأفريقي

يبقى مضيق باب المندب أحد أهم نقاط الاختناق البحرية في العالم. ومع سعي الفاعلين الإقليميين والدوليين إلى تعزيز الأمن البحري، يشير إعلان صوماليلاند الأخير إلى أن هرجيسا تسعى إلى دور أكثر بروزاً في حماية الملاحة على الجانب الأفريقي من البحر الأحمر.

أكد قائد خفر السواحل والبحرية في صوماليالاند، الأدميرال أحمد حري هارييه، التزام سلطات هرجيسا بالمساهمة في تأمين مضيق باب المندب، بالتنسيق مع الشركاء الإقليميين والدوليين، في ظل تصاعد التحديات الأمنية في البحر الأحمر.

تعزيز التعاون البحري

وقال هارييه إن صوماليالاند ملتزمة بتطبيق القانون البحري الدولي، وتعزيز التعاون لحماية حرية الملاحة والتجارة الدولية عبر مضيق باب المندب، الذي يعد أحد أهم الممرات البحرية الاستراتيجية في العالم.

تطورات إقليمية

وجاء هذا الإعلان في وقت تشهد فيه منطقة البحر الأحمر تصاعدًا في التوترات الأمنية، على خلفية الهجمات التي تستهدف حركة الشحن التجاري، بالتزامن مع تنامي الجهود الإقليمية والدولية لتعزيز أمن الممرات البحرية.

دور أمني متنامٍ

وأشار التقرير إلى أن الإعلان يعكس مساعي صوماليالاند إلى تعزيز حضورها في ترتيبات الأمن البحري على الضفة الإفريقية للبحر الأحمر، في ظل اتساع شراكاتها الإقليمية والدولية، وسعيها إلى لعب دور أكبر في حماية الملاحة عبر مضيق باب المندب.
