@LordDolish Hi there. We don't have plans for an email service at present, but we do recommend a few in our article on alternatives to Google:
https://t.co/iJMK7D9OrG
@binseu_ @DuckDuckGo ... but ideally we hope that new users wouldn't need to type !g before every single search. We try to serve great search results and are continually striving to improve them further.
Anyway, thanks again for the feedback which I've passed on.
@binseu_ @DuckDuckGo Hi again. Thank for the detailed explanation and the example URLs. I get it - to summarize, users could change DuckDuckGo's default search to be Google (or other), and use bangs to specify DuckDuckGo (or others).
I've copied all your comments and forwarded them to the team ...
@binseu_ @DuckDuckGo Regarding the default bang query parameter suggestion, I just want to make sure I've fully understood. The way it would work is that, when used, every search to DuckDuckGo would automatically go to another search engine/website instead. Is that right?
@binseu_ @DuckDuckGo Hi binseu. Thanks for the feedback. I agree using !ddg to search for things while already on DuckDuckGo is not really needed, but personally I use !ddg (without a query) quite a lot when I want to go straight to the homepage from the address bar.
@11bits@DuckDuckGo@ProtonMail Hi. Sorry for the delay. Please feel free to check out our partnerships page which may be of interest to you, and also has a contact address at the bottom: https://t.co/kaulDyiE8M
@RobertBorgersen Hi Robert. Yes, you can use \ to go to directly to the first search result. For example, \duckling - there are a few more advanced tips like this on our help page:https://t.co/ZNgoRN7tRb
@antoniocuga Hi Antonio. Yes, this is one of our "bang" shortcuts that enable direct searches on other websites. There's more information and a list of all 10,000+ of them here: https://t.co/xltWgFCqWe
@r3bl_@DuckDuckGo@yegg Hi Aleksander. We don't feel we can give anything an "A" until TOSDR vets the privacy policy, and unfortunately they don't have a ton of sites vetted yet. However, we are committed to working with them to dramatically increase the number of sites rated.
@mikebronner Ah, sorry for the disappointment but really appreciate you wanting to help out. We're considering what's the best course of action, and will announce anything on this channel.
@mikebronner Hi Mike. Thanks for trying to set this up. DuckDuckHack is actually now in maintenance mode so the DuckDuckGo org can't be added to Codio at the moment. There's more info at the top of the docs:

@johnsundell@duckduckgo Another handy @duckduckgo tip: Typing "!git Unbox" in the address/search bar takes you to https://t.co/rdXpd4LGPY
