@Rome_Beast He just has to be able to defend the rim, rebound some and finish a lob...seems like what the Lakers needs fit his skill set, and there pretty much zero opportunity cost taking a look at him. Good move.
@VinnysCorner1@JamesWorthy42 Watched him beat Georgetown, fell in love with the combination of speed, power and grace in his game. The Lakers became my favorite team after they drafted him...
@TrevorLane Loved a lot of things...but they desperately need a 6'8+, 240lb guy who can rebound and defend on the bench...rebounding is gonna be a problem this year. Oh, and a real emergency PG instead of Manon or Hardy would be nice so they could at least try to run offense.
@ProphetXLA I'm in the minority that thinks DK could still be good, but this is 2 guys JJ won't ever play for a guy he will play, and at a position of need...seems like a no brainer.
@RyanKartje Well, gosh I'd want him to get the weakest possible punishment I felt I could get away with giving him so he would understand that his value on the field is worth more to me than his character or growth as a man.
@mrlongshore "At no other point in life do we willingly hand responsibility for our safety to somebody else simply because thereโs a rule telling them how theyโre supposed to behave. "
People don't drive cars?
@MarcWatkinsEsq@oregonfootball It was a late hit, but not an egregious one. The helmet contact feels intentional, esp when you look at the USC players landing. The thing drawing hate, rightfully, is the actions of that player after seeing the results. No remorse or even concern, just celebration.
@HawkEmDownChris Wilt. Whether those guys are in or not. They widened the damn key specifically because no one could stop him if he posted up at the old width. Dude averaged 48+mpg in the fastest paced season of all time. Owns 68 NBA records outright. And on and on...
@Coopz___ As a free agent, yes. As a restricted FA, Denver would light their franchise on fire before they let the Lakers take a good player away from them. FWIW, I really like Mamu and Grimes, and I've come around to Sexton being a very useful piece even if not what I wanted...
@TrevorLane Thankful it's over and hopefully we can add a player who wants to be in LA. Was more excited about the athleticism than the actual player... just like Atlanta and GS.
@LakersSBN Silver looks like the nice guy principal who turns out to be an evil vampire on an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer...you can tell the kid behind him is starting to have some doubts.
@GoDucksnet Of course it computes. Retired or older players have years where their averages drop due to their age calculated into the career avg, while younger current players only have their prime years in that career average...
