I promise you that the ridiculous politics of Seattle, Olympia, and King County are absolutely a factor in the ridiculous quick turnover we’re seeing at the top of the University of Washington Athletics’ Program.
This won’t stop until you guys stop voting blue.
I’ve lived in East Michigan, every single Metro area has huge problems based on decades long macro economic problems. Detroit literally can’t keep the lights on. Seattle has no such problems, Olympia even has a surplus! Yet here we are, because of our own dumb laws and policies, trying to run the tax payers out of our cities and are literally burying ourselves in needless and human waste. Bad land use policy, the green agenda, sexual education, and compassionate laws (that are anything but compassionate) are ruining this state.
How many of you that love UDub even live in King County? Did you flee to the smaller communities of Washington to avoid King County problems? Do you still vote blue in these small communities? (Ridiculous housing costs is largely a political problem based on the green agenda and related bad land use policy) - Again, and I can’t stress this enough, Western Washington’s problems are political and not economic, and that makes them so much worse. But, it also means the problems can be righted. Talk to your neighbors.
This has got to be about the NIL more than anything - and if we can't compete at that level to keep him then everything he accomplished the past 2 years is for nothing and this program is not going to be elite - if this happens this family is done with Husky football. It's too painful
