Fellow Canadians — it’s time we stand together. I’m a Nana to nine beautiful grandchildren. I lived through Trudeau Sr. in Alberta — small towns in receivership, families losing homes and businesses under bad federal policies. We climbed out of that hole over time. Today, under 11+ years of this Liberal government (Trudeau to Carney), it feels 1000 times worse. Record debt and rising interest costs. Skyrocketing housing and groceries. Youth stuck in basements with part-time jobs and no clear path forward. Massive immigration without matching infrastructure. Green mandates and regulations adding huge costs to energy, oil & gas, steel, and small businesses — making us uncompetitive while conglomerates like Brookfield thrive. Capital fleeing, manufacturers eyeing the U.S., stalled pipelines, and trade uncertainty with our biggest partner. Every announcement feels like smoke and mirrors. Big spending, big promises, big global agendas — but nothing improves for average families. Small businesses and entrepreneurs get crushed while insiders benefit. They double down and refuse to acknowledge they are the biggest stumbling block. We cannot keep telling our grandchildren the same stories we told our children: “Keep your nose clean, work hard, and you’ll do okay.” That promise is breaking. Canadians must stand together — across provinces, across parties — and demand real change: spending restraint, housing supply, controlled immigration that matches capacity, competitive regulations, and policies that put working families and small businesses first. Our kids and grandkids deserve a Canada where hard work still builds a good life. It won’t happen by hoping this direction magically improves. Time to speak out and demand better. #CanadaDeservesBetter
