@YKBmessiah Max has reach and stamina, he can dart in and out with footwork all day against Justin. Ilia could keep ahead on strikes in the 1st, but not damage. He doesn’t have Max’s reach/footwork, and he has nothing left after trying to push the pace to stay ahead of Justin in the 2nd.

@Neutrallens65 Ilia lost the first round. He had to weaponize pace just to stay ahead of Justin in the second, but he obviously couldn not maintain that pace. I think the pivotal point was in the first round, he was ahead on strikes and looking okay until that first uppercut landed.

@SmeshTalk The officers involved maintained the empathy of knowing that they’re often just dealing with people in their worst moments, which is one of the underrated vigils of enforcement. It’s a shame that the video was propagated with at least objectively with opposite intent.
